Fractional Resurfacing at Maryland Plastic Surgery Medical Spa
At the Maryland Plastic Surgery Center Medical Spa, we offer the full spectrum of treatment options to improve the quality and appearance of the skin.
Treatments for the under eyelid region range from sophisticated creams/gels that can help temporarily tighten loose eyelid skin and reduce the appearance of dark circles, to filler injections to provide more volume and hide any gooves/depressions in the skin, to no downtime laser treatments for long-lasting tightening of loose skin, to surgical options including removal of excess skin, tightening of the eyelid, removal of bags, and resurfacing of the skin.
Most patients with loose under eyelid skin and fine lines benefit from a series of Fractional Resurfacing (e.g. Fraxel) laser procedures (3-4 treatments) that are performed in the comfort and safety of the Maryland Plastic Surgery Center Medical Spa. Patients obtain smooth skin with this non-invasive laser treatment option. Fractional resurfacing treatments are so effective that they can even reduce the appearance of scars due to acne or trauma.
Basically, fractional resurfacing is a non-surgical non-ablative laser procedure performed in our Medical Spa that gently removes the fine lines and tightens loose skin through collagen stimulation. Immediately following each laser treatment, the skin will be slightly red for about an hour. Some patients experience minor swelling -- this may resolve within a couple of hours or it may persist for up to 48 hours in patients with sensitive skin. There is a slight stinging sensation with each pulse of laser energy. We can adjust the each fractional resurfacing treatment for your comfort and to minimize these side effects. The laser treatment works with individuals of all skin types.
Each laser treatment costs $800, thus the total price for a series of fractional resurfacing treatments is $3,200. However, we are currently offering a "special". Patients who purchase 3 fractional resurfacing treatments ($2,400) will recieve their 4th treatment at no-charge. We do accept CareCredit
payments (where you use a line of credit for healthcare purchases).
