Photo Rejuvenation uses intense pulsed light (IPL) to create younger, healthier, more radiant skin. The procedure is frequently referred to as a “FotoFacial” or “FotoFacial-RF” treatment and it usually requires no recovery time and causes little or no discomfort after treatment. The procedure can be performed on the face, neck, chest, hands and arms.
Younger skin contains more collagen than older skin, and photo rejuvenation uses laser pulses of light to encourage your body to form new collagen. The result is firmer and smoother skin. Unlike laser resurfacing, photo rejuvenation requires no recovery time and is a much more gentle procedure. Dr. Summers will help you to determine the best treatment to achieve your desired results.
